5k 5k 5k 5 tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow!
So I'm really going to try to PR in the 5k tomorrow. I'm going to go out conservatively, make sure that to hit 100 or 200 too fast (24.5, 49) and run 1:38s the entire time.
Conditions are good. It might be raining. Do I care if it's raining? Competitively, no - the worse the conditions are, the better I'm going to place. Period. Because I'm just a lot tougher than the other girls out there. I want to run really fast, so I guess ideally, it wouldn't be raining. But it's spring - it could change.
The race conditions are even better. I got to practice today and my coach was relishing in his mysteriousness. "I left the performance list open on the computer in the fitness center. Check it!"
A. and I rushed up there... to find similarly interesting seeding situations. I'm the 5th seed of 12 5k runners. I'm not overseeded. There are two girls in front of me in 20:00-low, and a bunch of girls behind me in the 20:50 range. So I can go out conservatively and pick them off as a pack, if they run as a pack, or just one by one.
I am SO EXCITED!!

I get told that I make a lot of great facial expressions. I tried a couple of smirks out, I contorted my face until I actually made the :/ face, but ultimately I went for "oh snap!" (True fact: I can make a lot of funny faces, but I cannot frown.)

I get told I make ridiculous facial expressions. And am generally ridiculous, so it works out. Ha, so you totally just sat there, taking picture after picture until it came out just right. That makes it so much better. You really can't frown? What does it end up like? I have to see you try this.

It could be, if I wanted it to be a hat. Uggh, Easy Mac is gross. Kraft macaroni and cheese just NEEDS milk and butter. I just ate a gigantic burger and an ice cream sundae at The Grog with Dan and Ariel. Ohmygod. SO FULL. FOOD COMA.
I so did not just sit there taking picture after picture... I could see the display, so I just kept making faces until I had the perfect expression. I only snapped one picture.
I really can't frown. I can't prove it without shooting a movie, but this is my frown face.
EPIC innuendo fail! You just can't go there... the "call me daddy" stuff is just really, really weird. Oh, remind me on Sunday, Dan made a reference today that I didn't understand and can't, in my innocence, figure out.

I prefer Annie's mac n cheese the best, but I'll eat whatever is cheapest/available to me. And I am definitely getting a big, juicy bacon cheeseburger with some beer tomorrow after the race. Oh man.

I have a box of Annie's I found in the pantry for free. I ate it for breakfast the morning I ran 5:52.5 for 1600! Maybe I should reconsider that....

That's just how far my facial muscles will go. I just can't... make... a frown. Some people can't. My mom and my brother can frown, but my dad and I can't. I try to pull my mouth into the ( and all I get is weird pucker/pout.
I think I learned about that fetish from CSI. CSI exposed me to a LOT of that stuff when I was in middle school. Ugh. Ugh. And I am NOT assume that the creepy old guy will get the reference - I picked you because you're the biggest delinquent I know!

See? Annie's is magical. I've gone through three boxes in a night once. Grog burger some special Bryn Mawr area thing? I got a 5 Guys burger in DC Sunday. It made my life. ::drools::

You know what else teaches you a lot of creepy shit? SVU. Oh man, I started watching SVU regularly my junior year of college and it made me suspicious of EVERYONE! My brain needs more bleach.
